The Third Annual 2001 AXIEM AWARDS winners have been announced, again including Findlay, OH-based Aardvark, Inc., presented with two awards for their work in Internet development for Blanchard Valley Health Association and for The University of Findlay. Other AXIEM Awards were awarded to AT&T Media Services, Dreamworks Pictures, HBO Studio Productions, Radio Free Asia, and other nationally and globally known organizations. Aardvark, Inc. also won a 2000 AXIEM Award, and is recognized as a leader in electronic media. The AXIEM AWARDS is a national competition that recognizes Absolute eXcellence In Electronic Media. Nearly 1600 entries were received for the 2001 competition.
Aardvark, Inc. was specifically recognized for Web site development of the Blanchard Valley Health Association's website at www.bvha.org and The University of Findlay’s website at athletics.findlay.edu.

AXIEM AWARDS judges are nominated by a distinguished panel of industry leaders. Judging is based on a points ystem in four areas: innovation, creativity, technical merit and overall experience of the piece. The AXIEM AWARDS sets the standard for creative communication and production excellence by establishing a "level playing field" for all entries. Each entry is judged solely on its own merits against an absolute standard of excellence created for each medium, market, and category, not one another. To be acknowledged by your peers in the most popular media forms in the world is truly an honor.
