At Wood County Hospital, professional excellence and personalized care are their overriding goals. This is evident by the caliber of their staff and their commitment to patients and their families. This commitment to caring has been the foundation of Wood County Hospital's growth since they accepted their first patient on August 14, 1951.
The private, not-for-profit 162-bed general cute care facility located on a 37-acre campus was named in honor of the people of Wood County. It serves a population of over 72,000 in Wood, Henry, Seneca, Sandusky and Hancock counties in Northwest Ohio.
